Anime Gold N° 6 - Parasyte The Maxim
Parasyte The Maxim is an animation whose story is based of the Manga Parasite. An old Manga whose original run ended 1994. However fans would have to wait till 2014 for an anime and with what we got the wait was worth it.
"Someone on earth ounce thought"
The story starts in a dark house a women and her husband are looking at each other intensely. Spiting marks appear all over the mans face and moments later his head opens up like a giant mouth
and devours his wifes head in one go.
Countless seeds fallowing from the sky all over. Inside each seed is a worm, a worm that seeks a hosts brain. Unfortunately for Kenichi one of these parasite worms finds its' way into his bedroom. Seeing no way to enter the young boys head trough his ears covered by headphones, the parasite decides to enter his body trough his nose. However Kenichi wakes up startled and sneezes the parasite out.
The parasite being desperate to get a host attempts one last attack trough Kenichi's arm. As it starts crawling up his arm towards his head. Using the cord from his headphones as a tourniquet Kenichi tries to stop the parasite from going trough his body. Luckily for him the parasite having no energy left had no choice but to stay in his arm. As Kenichi gets to sleep and wondering if it was all a dream the parasite thinks to himself "Too bad I didn't get the Brain"

Top quality animation and a soundtrack that puts you directly in tune with the story. There is a lot of violence and gore in this story so it might not be for everyone. It's a dark world out there.
